The value or return of an investment will fluctuate and an investor may lose some or all of their investment. Performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.

The Global X Ultra Long Nasdaq 100 Hedge Fund (Ultra Long Fund), and the Global X Ultra Short Nasdaq 100 Hedge Fund (Ultra Short Fund) are ASX exchange traded managed funds. The Ultra Long Fund is a leveraged financial product. The Ultra Short Fund is both a short and leveraged financial product. These concepts, and the investment objective of both the Ultra Long Fund and Ultra Short Fund, are detailed in the applicable PDS. “Short” and/or “leveraged” exchange traded financial products, including the Ultra Long Fund and the Ultra Short Fund, are complex instruments and are high risk.

Each Fund uses leverage (also known as gearing) as a key element of its investment strategy. Gearing magnifies and increases the volatility of both gains and losses from the Fund’s investments. The Ultra Short Fund also uses short selling as a key element of its investment strategy. This means the Ultra Short Fund will aim to generate returns that are inversely related (i.e., in the opposite direction) to movements in the Nasdaq 100 Index (Index).

Taking short positions involves a higher level of risk to an investment than a long position as the maximum loss the Ultra Short Fund is exposed to has no upper limit. Further, an investment in either Fund will not replicate or track the performance of the Index exactly, or even closely. The amount of leverage used by each of the Ultra Long Fund and Ultra Short Fund is expressed as a target range of between 200% 275%. The performance of an investment in either Fund will depend primarily upon the general direction of the Index (up or down) and the amount of exposure to the Index (leverage) within the target range at any point in time and will also depend on the path the Fund portfolio takes to achieve its returns.

Short and leveraged exchange traded products are only intended for investors who understand the risks involved in investing in a product with short and/or leveraged exposure and who intend to invest on a short-term basis. Any investment in short and/or leveraged products should be actively managed and very closely monitored, as frequently as daily.

Before making any investment in either Fund, prospective investors should carefully consider whether they are prepared to be exposed to significant losses on their investment. Please refer to the individual PDS and TMD for each Fund for further details, and in particular the risks associated with an investment in either Fund.
