About Us

Chris joined Global X in 2024 and is responsible for leading a team of investment professionals, overseeing the management of all the firm’s ETFs, trading infrastructure, and fostering service provider relationships, all while driving product development with key market insights. He has more than 18 years’ of extensive portfolio management experience. Chris previously held senior positions at UBS Global Asset Management, where he led the index portfolio management team in Australia for over 12 years, driving strategic growth and product development. Chris holds a Bachelor of Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management and Bachelor of Investment Management and is a CFA Charterholder.

Scott joined Global X in 2025 and is responsible for leading the firm’s marketing strategy across Australia, including brand and client engagement across adviser and investor channels. He has more than 20 years of financial services marketing experience, with a focus on wealth, retirement and investment platforms. Prior to joining Global X, Scott was Director, Investments Marketing at Colonial First State and held senior marketing roles at Allianz Retire+, ANZ, Macquarie Group and Commonwealth Bank. Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) from Macquarie University, a Diploma of Financial Planning and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Wealth Management

Brianna joined Global X in 2023 and is responsible for leading the firm’s finance function, including the management of financial performance and strategy. Brianna has previous experience in financial services and was previously a Senior Accountant at Coolabah Capital Investments, where she reported directly to the Chief Financial Officer. She holds a Bachelor of Professional Accounting from Macquarie University and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ).

Taff joined Global X in 2023 and is responsible for leading the risk and compliance function. Taff has over 17 years’ experience in the financial services and investment management industry, with 14 years specialising in risk. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at Westpac, Morgan Stanley and Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Taff holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Banking, Finance and Risk Management) from Griffith University and a Graduate Certificate of Project Management from Swinburne University. 

Steven joined Global X in 2025 and is responsible for leading the firm’s operations function.
Steven joins the firm from State Street Global Advisors where he held the role of Head of
Product Oversight and Business Risk and Controls APAC. He previously held multiple roles at
Vanguard where he was responsible for the operational oversight of the personal investor
platform and fund accounting. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) from Griffith
University and a Graduate Certificate in Product Management from RMIT University.

Andrew joined Global X in 2025 and is responsible for supporting the execution of the firm’s
distribution strategy across the intermediary client segment including financial planners, wealth
managers and stockbrokers across West Australia and South Australia. Andrew brings nearly 30
years of experience in the finance and investment management industry, having held leadership
roles at AMP, NAB and MLC, in addition to eight years personally delivering wealth advice as a
Financial Planner. He hold a number of credentials including an MBA from the Australian
Institute of Business and is a Graduate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

David Hansen joined Global X in 2025 and holds more than 15 years’ experience in the financial services industry. His previous roles have been across businss development at SelfWealth, Praemium and Macquarie Bank.

Ella joined Global X in 2025 and is a Business Development Associate, supporting the distribution team with adviser and intermediary relationships across Australia. She began her career in Adelaide with Equipe Advisory as an Accountant before moving into investment support roles at 360Private, where she worked as an Investment Assistant and Investment Associate. Ella holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of South Australia.

Angus joined Global X in 2024 and is a Business Development Associate, supporting the distribution and key accounts teams with adviser and intermediary relationships across Australia. Prior to joining Global X, he worked in client services at Adviser FP. Angus holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney, majoring in Management and Leadership and International Business.

Alessandro joined Global X in 2022 and responsible for fund management, portfolio implementation, reconciliation and reporting across a range of ETFs. Prior to joining Global X, he held roles at Mirae Asset Global Investments, ClearBridge Investments and Challenger Limited. Alessandro holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Economics) from Macquarie University.
